Well turns out after Lionsgate dumped The Midnight Meat Train into 102 dollar theaters, they’re not stopping there. Now their dumping Repo! into limited theaters, but it gets worse, it’s not going to be in 102 theaters, not even 50…nope Bloody Disgusting, Clive Barker, and Darren Lynn Bousman have confirmed Repo! will be getting a limited release in under 10 SCREENS! Also, Repo! and Midnight Meat Train have been set in January 2009, for their DVD Release date. More news to come soon…

Well LGF is getting no respect with giving what are easily 2 of the most intriguing genre films of the year so poor treatment. What a sad predicament and it just shows you that true creative art is considered second to turning a profit.
Theres currently a grass roots effort to try and get Repo a wider release at http://www.repo-opera.com/boards so if your interested in helping to save the film register there.
