With remakes you usually just have to expect it to be bad and once it awhile you are lucky enough to be surprised. I am hoping this is the case. I will be interested to see how Sara Paxton does. If her acting is as good as you described, It could be her breakout role since she hasn't gotten a role that she can really go far enough with. Good to hear the rape scene was hard to watch, that is how rape should be, completely uncomfortable in every way. I am looking forward to seeing this more now, thanks! that is great news.
