I went to the screening yesterday night in Chatsworth. And although i cannot tell you certain things, and im not allowed to post a review, i can tell everyone not to worry about ANYTHING. The acting, is awesome, the movie, is awesome. The rating? Do not worry about it AT ALL. If anything it’s getting a HARD R, and an uncut DVD. This movie will get chopped up at the MPAA unfortunately. The rape scene? Very explicit, people walked out at the screening. The only thing im worrying about, is the ending, i hated it, but they may change it. Stay tuned for more on THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.

To be honest, i haven’t seen it, im thinking about picking it up tonight. But yeah everyone in the theater loved it, so i wasn’t the only one.
You’re not allowed to post a review? I just read one on another site.
that is great news. With remakes you usually just have to expect it to be bad and once it awhile you are lucky enough to be surprised. I am hoping this is the case. I will be interested to see how Sara Paxton does. If her acting is as good as you described, It could be her breakout role since she hasn’t gotten a role that she can really go far enough with. Good to hear the rape scene was hard to watch, that is how rape should be, completely uncomfortable in every way. I am looking forward to seeing this more now, thanks!
very interesting article. on most issues I agree with the author:)
