Variety has recently reported that Nikolaj Arcel has signed on to directed ‘Island of Lost Souls’, for Universal Pictures. The upcoming film is a remake of Arcel’s own Danish film. Continue reading for more details.
The film focuses on a suburtan teen who finds that she is a central player in a centuries-old battle between good and evil when her younger brother possessed by the benevolent spirit of an 18th century magician.
Jennifer O’Kieffe will pen the screenplay, with Marc Abraham and Eric Newman producing through Strike Entertainment.
