As for there being a sequel, I don't see the need for one. The original ending of Army of Darkness closed things up rather nicely with Ash losing his shit in a destroyed future. The american ending, while not as good IMO, still wrapped it up by showing Ash coming to terms with being the proverbial deadite slayer. I always got a kick out of the Captain Supermarket thing.
