Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that ‘Friday the 13th: The series’ will be coming to dvd. All 25 episodes of the first season will be arriving at stores on Sept 23rd. There are no announcements regarding special features at this time, unfortutanely, but the show - which ran 3 seasons - will be presented in full frame.

The series is a suspense drama, which first aired in ‘87, about a small group of people (played by John D. Lemay, Louise Robey, and Chris Wiggins) who set out to reclaim cursed artifacts sold by an antique dealer with ties to all three of them. The hope is to prevent the artifacts from doing any more harm than they have already done. Each episode revolves around securing a different artifact.
