Esplatter.com has reported that the new horror film, written by Clive Barker, has had it’s release date pushed up from August 1st to July 11th. Normally that would be good news, but that pits this one against ‘Hellboy 2′, and just a week ahead of ‘The Dark Knight’. Time will tell how it stands up to those two films.

‘Midnight Meat Train’ is directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (Versus) and stars Bradley Cooper, Vinnie Jones, Brooke Shields, and Roger Bart. The film follows a photographer who attempts to track down a serial killer dubbed the “Subway Butcher” and discovers more than he bargained for beneath the New York city streets.
