Anaconda 3 and 4 will star none other than the Knight Rider himself, David Hasselhoff. Both films are being produced by the Sci-Fi Channel for airing on the network and DVD release. Part 3, subtitled ‘The Offspring’ is currently in post production.
The plot will reportedly center around Hasselhoff, playing a mercenary for hire, who accepts a mission from a billionaire to capture a dangerous snake that could possibly help cure a terminal illness. Release dates have not been announced. Perhaps a giant snake bikini is in our future?

I find that poster of the Hoff scarier than ANY Anaconda film could ever be.

As great a news article as this is, I fear it may be overshadowed by everyones attempt to gouge out their eyes when they look at that picture of the Hoff.
That being said, I think David Hasselhoff has some good comical timing and he might make the films somewhat lighthearted, and doubtless fairly funny.
Ebert gave the first two positive reviews. I wonder if he’ll enjoy this one? :p
