The advertising arm of Platinum Dunes, Bloody-Disgusting, is reporting that Damian Shannon and Mark Swift are the likely choice to write the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. These are the same writers behind Freddy vs. Jason and the new Friday the 13th film.
