Jamie King (Sin City) and Tom Atkins (Escape From New York, Creepshow, Maniac Cop) have joined the cast of My Bloody Valentine3-D (2009), the remake to the 1981 slasher. The film will be directed by Patrick Lussier (Dracula 2000). The film centers around a man that returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders. The film is tentatively set to be released on January 23, 2009.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackSo they’re remaking a film in 3D… interesting
I guess 3-D is gonna be the new remake trend with both his and Piranha goign that direction. Good to see Tom Atkins back in horror.
A 3D version of this just sounds ridiculous. My Bloody Valentine is an okay film, but it could have definately used some improvement. If they have to remake it then at least they could try to add a little depth to it or have thier own take on it. Apparently, their own take is 3D. I guess the best we can hope for is that it will come off as cheesy, but funny.
Huh. So that was Jamie King in the movie. Would have helped if I had read this sooner.
Good film I thought

Snake Plisken sucked in this!
No way, this big guy is an actor on Stargate, and who the hell is Jace Hall anyway? Regardless, it isn’t bad casting.
