I liked it but a little short. What did you think?

I'll pick up Roadhouse if the Kevin Smith Commentary is on it.

Upon closer inspection, the Blu Ray of Roadhouse comes with a bonus regular DVD, where you can watch the Kevin Smith/Scott Moser commentary. But it comes with the set. Definitely a good listen. They convert Chuck Norrisisms into Daltonisms, and it manages to be even funnier. "Unlike everyone else, Dalton CAN believe it's not butter."

Unforgiven is likely my favorite Eastwood. GB&U has it's place in history, but it's not as rewatchable as Unforgiven is to me. Unforgiven is if not in my top 10, it's damn close. Like 11 or 12. I've been meaning to update my list.

Same here, I've needed to update mine for over a year now. Unforgiven is my favorite Western next to Tombstone and Younguns, I'm not a very big fan of Westerns but those three have always caught my eye. Unforgiven I think is #7 on my list.

I agree. I'm not sold on Blu-Ray. Believe it or not, but the picture is TOO GOOD. Everything looks fake to me. And CGI looks obviously fake.
I don't need to watch something that's better than my eyesight.
Blu-Ray won't last. Eventually everything will be streamed from your computer to your television. We won't even have discs anymore.Attachment: DualBanners.jpg (Downloaded 49 times)

Nothing last forever but it will be around for awhile. DVD has been around for over a decade, I believe Blu-Ray will last about the same.

Friday The 13th: The Killer Cut
Watching it now, I am annoyed as fuck that it autostarts the movie, and I can't tell if I'm watching the extended version or not. I think I am, but it's still annoying.

It auto starts the Extended version (I enjoyed even more than the theretical cut btw) you can tell because the begnning scene with Mrs. Vorrhees is extended and includes alot of cut footage of young Jason (very well done IMO) Also later in the film when we first see the girl that Jason kidnapps we get a "rare" Jason moment where he sits down and begins to sharpen his machette, then he has some flash backs of his mothers death. (also well done IMO)

I didn't see anything different with the Mommy Voorhees scene, but I figured I was watching the extended when i was flipping through the pop up menu and saw the option to watch the theatrical version in the special features. I still dislike discs that auto play.

In the theatrical verison we only saw young Jason's hands pick up the machette and walk off. in the extended cut we see shots of him watching from a distance as his mom get's killed then him walking up to her decapitated body. That was the difference between the two versions of the opening scene. I hate auto play as well
