Or "Batman Begins 3" or "The Dark Knight Returns" or "Shadow Of The Bat" or whatever title they wind up with. I'm cracking a thread open for it right now.
As of right now, there is no story plan, casting (though Bale is signed for another) or even an idea of what villians to use.
Internet rumors proclaim Riddler and Catwoman being talked about, but it's nothing more than rumors (the most hilarious have been Eddie Murphy as Riddler and Cher as Catwoman).
I would like to see them continue with Batman being hunted personally. They probably will, but I'd like to see it play more of a major role in the plot arch. If they must go with Riddler as the core villian (because he sucks in any other position) then I think it would be interesting to have him try to make Batman breakdown with mind games that leave him attempting to thwart crime sprees and not get caught by the police that hunts him, along with hiring a mercenary by the name of Deathstroke for extra fun. Catwoman I'd like to see in it because Batman needs a female counterpart, and she could easily be his new confidant other than Alfred and some yummy poontang to boot.
My ideal casting:

Yeah, I know Anthony Michael Hall was already in Dark Knight and not as Edward Nigma, but the name "Edward Nigma" is so obvious and goofy, it could easily be an alias, and with how obsessed Hall's reporter character was about bringing Batman up as a topic, it could make a lot of sense he becomes The Riddler.

Beckinsale's practically been practicing playing a Selena in black vinyl, while Mitra and Rosario would just look good in the role as well as pulling it off. Bellucci was my number one choice ten years ago, but that was ten years ago. She's beginning to age (very well, but getting up there).

Yeah, couldn't come up with 4 actors for this guy.

| I'd like to see what all 4 of those choices for Riddler could do in the role. For Catwoman I'd go with Beckinsale or Mitra. And obviously Dolph would rock all!

i would prefer to see villains who hadn't already been in a film.. so deathstroke is a great choice. and lundgren would definitely fill the role well.

Dolph! I hate the Ray Park selection, as he is too cliche for martial arts roles in comic movies. Dolph is big, physical, and smart.
Also, no Jude Law. I thought his decae of being rammed down the public's throats for no good reason was over.

Yet Park was only in Xmen as freak'n Toad (GI Joe is not out yet, so I can't count him as Snake Eyes yet). I do prefer the Dolph call though, Park was just a second option

| What about the JOker, should he feature in the new film or not? He is, after all, perfectly alive and well.

I think considering it is still a relatively touchy subject, I would imagine they aren't even gonna consider that until maybe #4.

Touchy subject or not, I already have two prefered selections, I just haven't made a montage because I haven't considered that he would be back (albet even just behind bars).

Yes bring the joker back, he makes the gotham universe so much more interesting. I do think they should wait until part 4 to make us hungry for him again and the series would still have the joker card to play if part 3 sucks (a la Spidey 3).

I know it is a touchy subject, but Heath Ledger is not the Joker, his death does not decry the death of a franchise character for the series, surely. It would be far more sensible to reinclude him in the films, in my mind. It makes no sense not to.

I think this will complete a trilogy of Nolan Batman films, and there won't be anymore sequels. We'll probably see Riddler (who I'm not really a fan of) and my casting choice would be Ed Norton. I'd like to The Madd Hatter in this film, I think Michael Emerson would be perfect for that role.

I meant to have a " " in there, meaning I don't care that Heath died, someone else can play him.

Heath Ledger dying may have ruined Batman 3.

I think it would be a perfect time to introduce Harvey Bullock - badass cop who could hunt down Batman throughout the course of the film...

Harvey Bullocke was bad ass? Every time I saw him appear he was a disgruntled cop, but I have no problems with him getting introduced Rene Montoya would be nice too. Lesbo cop.

Hell, Emerson would be a great Riddler as well.

I had to look him up. I have no reference for his acting, but I could see him do both characters.

I've really only seen him from Saw and Lost, but from what I've seen, he plays the creepy manipulator perfectly. Eh?

I don't remember him in Saw and I don't watch Lost.

My one request: Don't use the fucking "Who is Batman" storyline for Riddler again...would anyone really want to waste their time watching a movie where the core villain's goal is to find out who Batman is? Seriously...
