The commentary is good.  It is Fellissa, the director, and the guy who runs the Sleepaway Camp sites.

Who was on the commentary?

It's not watching, say, the commentary from American beauty - this one is just plain silly but it's director Robert Hiltzik and actor Felissa Rose.  It really sounds like they got high, grabbed an old 80's Mic, sat down and watched the film.  "Mystery Science Theater 3000" style!!!

I still need to see Return to Sleepaway Camp. But I bought the box set a few years back when it was first released. Contained Part IV: The Survivor. What was filmed, at least. I wonder how that one would've done.

I actually watched the Sleepaway Camp series (including Part IV) about a month or two ago.

I saw this when I was a little kid and was pretty much like,  "Ummm....what did I miss?"

Made absolutely no sense, and I'm wondering if it might make more sense watching it now in my 30's???:p

Probably not.:biggrin

Ritz and sharp cheddar.

It's apparently a cult classic, and I do need to watch it again because everyone else is talking about it, and I can't remember half of it.:blush

Mmm...ritz and cheddar.

There's a few of us here that think the film isn't all that great(I am one of them), but the ending is definitely one of those that gets burned into your brain for the rest of your life. I do say every film is worth rewatching every few years, just to see if you change your mind about it.

I haven't seen the original Sleepaway in ages, so I dunno...But how the fuck can you hate Dead Alive? Mac n Cheese oozing from neck wounds, and ears in the custard! Gold.
