Great flick.  Well actually decent flick with a GREAT ending.  LOL

You all need to see this.  I have avoided it like the plauge since I thought it was a Friday the 13th Ripoff.  And in a way it is but 3/4 of the way through it gest VERY strange and like i said great twist.  (and its really dated.  Very 1983 and everyone has a New Yawk accent)

I have it up and Streaming at Helltown.  And uts veiwablr by Guests do you don;t have to login.  Heres the direct link.  If you haven't seen it do.

I saw it, and do believe it is a piece of crap.  Found it horrible on all cylinders, and yes, including the ending.  Haven't watched it since like 98, so all I have are my pissed off n disappointed memories of expecting a great 80's slasher.   Never bothered with the sequels because of how astonishing horrible this movie was.  I hated this far more than Dead Alive, which I can watch on occasion if really bored.  Now that the sole person who sees this flick as a steaming pile of paris hilton 40 day old jizz covered piece of crap has made their post, everyone else will post how great it is :p

Damnnn, I had no idea you hated this movie so much. Or maybe I forgot. Such hate for a simple, no-budget slasher.

To be honest, if it weren't for the ending, it would be easily forgettable to me.  I wouldn't go as far as calling it hilton jizz covered crap(which is, by far, one of the funniest damn insults I've ever heard :thumb), but definitely not this great film that everyone makes it out to be.  I still say the ending is brilliant because I like goofy shit like that. :P

I'd call it the Annie of Horror in that regard, but there's a certain cock in the ointment there...

I bought a DVD 6-pack about two years ago just because it had this one in it.

I enjoyed it...except for the fact that the entire cast seemed to be a bunch of NYC guineas.:biggrin

Right up until then, I thought she was cute as a button.

Now, whenever I see Felissa Rose in interviews, she looks crazy as a shit house rat.:bug

The funny part was that I knew the ending before I watched it and it's still fucked up.

Giving it a second chance, it wasn't as horrible as the first time I watched it. :p    I'm slightly more fond of the sequels, lol.

I cherish that insult more because Slaughter loved it.  I must find another horror movie that's awful with repeat viewings, that is somehow loved to slap that label on.

I just watched this last night from Netflix (I'm a little behind).  For some reason out of all of the movies that I've "returned to" over the years I completely forgot about this one.  Or at least I thought I did.  I couldn't remember any of it as I was watching last night but for some reason my brain kept giving me the feeling that there was something just around the bend.  (In the movie, not in my house)...

I went through the entire movie with that feeling and then BOOM - the ending hit me!  As the movie was hitting me with that finishing visual I completely remembered seeing that as a little kid and even though I was a little disturbed this time (about 2 on a scale to 10) I could remember how horrified I was at that visual as a little kid.  So I'm glad I picked it back up if for nothing other than that little hit!

On a side note I watched it again right afterwards with the commentary on and it was a good bonus.
