We were specifically talking cameos, not defined roles. The cameo is worthless unless it's relevant.

they are still good! Don't act like you haven't had thoughts about other potential end cameos for this flick.

Yeah, difference is they were all HORROR! I don't want fucking Jackie Chan busting through a door and delivering a sidekick. Nor Julie Roberts showing up to swallow someone with that giant trap of hers.

Favorite nod to another horror flick?
What did you come away from it thinking about?
What sealed the deal for you? what was the point where you either loved it, hated it or decided it was somewhere in between?
The Merman ~
When they had that gas station guy on speaker phone ~ that's just rude
Ripley ~ had no idea she was even in movie ( I did a really good job of avoiding any convo etc on this one)
and when they showed the cubes holding all the creatures , that was a site for sore eyes!
I didn't love it but I really liked it
the ending to me was just MEH .. I wanted to see what was down there and what was meant by End of the World..
The camera Marcus found
Now that company or what ever it was had a fucking mac set up.. yet they couldn't find a better place for that camera? and it had wires??
they can have a invisible shield.. but the camera had wires! ummm ok
also they had this huge panel with these kids photos and info , should of been a monitor that had heart beats pulse etc on it.. then they would of known for sure when some one died.
but titfortat , it was a fun ride.. will watch it again

glad that you liked the flick, luna.
i seem to be only one that didn't catch on to the technical problems with how things played out in the story.

well in all fairness I reckon it needed these glitches for the movie to progress the way it did but I kinda have a fun time finding little oddities and such in movies
like the security.. One button to open all the doors to the monsters was wacked as well.. and it should of been set up like the Nukes are.. 2 keys etc whatever. Anything but the weak measurements they had .. guys with guns is how they handle evil magical etc dead things?
even though I caught a few of the quirks I still thought it was really fun and I will buy it when it hits the shelves.. was different and I never got bored or looked away from the screen once

i would probably catch on to those things on repeated viewings. but i guess i was just taking everything in the first time. i thought it was an awesome movie.
i'm glad you enjoyed it.

I didn't think about the camera, but I know damn near everybody was commenting on the 1 button to unleash hell.

Depending on what you're talking about, I might want to see that

Dug the hell outta this movie, if I were to nitpick I actually probably wouldn't have had Weaver at the end either, I would have had the very end a bit more ambiguous and left to the imagination.

My ending would've had the girl either shoot Shaggy, or turn into a werewolf immediately and eat Shaggy (she was mauled )

| Began as a minor disappointment in my book but as it progressed, I added it to my "recommended" list.
