If you're like me, you start on a game and do not switch until you have beat that game. I just finished LOTR: The Third Age. My first experiance with the turn-based rpg.
Now I'm on Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly

on my computer I play FreeCell ALL the time. My record for wins in a row is 25 which I just set this past week .
On my Xbox I'm currently switching between Tiger Woods Golf and UFC Tap Out 2.

oh yeah.... digging up a 6 month old thread.
i beat GTA: San Andreas last week and in pretty good timing too since the new Tiger Woods golf just came out yesterday. i may pick that one up next week.
normally i'll play a game on and off for 3-5 months but it doesn't matter if i beat it or not. i just want it to hold my attention for awhile.

World Of Warcraft. THE reason why I haven't been around for months. lol.
Sorry, HMF is addicting, but WoW is like crack. Almost everything I love about games is in WoW. More importantly, I haven't had a more fun time playing a video game.
If you've never played a MMORPG, WoW is a great place to start. It is exhilarating whether you spend a half an hour or 5 hours in one session.
As GamePro put it so succinctly, "If this one doesn't hook you, nothing will."
Over 4 Million people play WoW. A Million of those players are from USA and Canada alone.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/worldofwarcraft/review.html
"Though massively multiplayer online role-playing games have been around for years, it has taken this long for the genre's breakthrough hit to finally emerge. Here is the online role-playing game you should play, no matter who you are. This is because World of Warcraft brings out all the best aspects of this style of gaming, if not many of the best aspects of gaming in general. It also features many of the specific characteristics that have made Blizzard Entertainment's previous games so entertaining, memorable, long-lasting, and successful. Of course, the company's past track record did not guarantee that World of Warcraft could have turned out this well. Such high quality simply cannot be expected, nor should it be missed."

I heard that game F.E.A.R. is supposed to be an excellent FPS coming soon to PC. Heard it was supposed to be even more atmospheric than Doom 3. Quake 4 is another one I'm looking forward to. Was always a fan of the Quake series, even more so than Doom.
