Sorry that I didn't think to share this with HMF earlier because rounds 1 and 2 are over, but I just put up part three!
We're holding an Elm Street Best Death Tournament on Nightmareonelmstreetmovie.com
Every month, starting now until April, we will be featuring a poll asking what death was the best from each Elm Street film. After the release of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), we will select the winning death from each movie, and have a final battle royal to decide the ultimate Freddy Krueger kill!
I started the Dream Warriors a little early. Thanks for reading!
September 2009 - A Nightmare on Elm Street - Winner: Tina Gray - Torn Open, Upside Down
October 2009 - Freddy's Revenge - Winner: Mass Death Scene At the Pool
November 2009 - Dream Warriors (click to vote)
December 2009 - The Dream Warrior
January 2010 - The Dream Child
February - Freddy's Dead
March - New Nightmare
April - A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)Last edited on Fri Oct 30th, 2009 10:13 pm by Wil

| Yeah the rest of the movies will be more interesting to see what wins. Although I bet the TV death wins for part 3.

I was torn between TV and Marionette. Ultimately I chose Marionette.

Marionette is far superior. TV death was just silly with a cool one-liner. Marionette one didn't need a one-liner, it was just greatness and, for me anyway, the best sequence in the entire movie.

I hate to ask, but what's a Marionette? If it's a person, which one was she? I've seen the movie before (I'm watching it later today, in fact), but I forget which scene you're referring to.

It's a Muppet with no hand up its ass. Controlled by strings.

Ah, damn, I loved that kill. Made a cool poster, also. That has my vote. Thanks, Foo.

| I think the Marionette is the best, but I figured more people would vote for the TV because of the one-liner. It looks like I am wrong though.

I voted for the Marionette death...such a great visual on that one. TV gets a close second for me.
For what it's worth, i would have voted for the Johnny Depp death in the 1st one, and the coach getting killed in #2

Rod Lane - Hung/Neck Broken By Sheet
1% (1 vote)
Glen Lantz - Geyser Drained

I just watched the rest of the series, and all of the kills in the 5th one suck. I honestly don't know which one I'm going to pick. Maybe the comic book dude.

I always thought Tina's death was the best anyway. It was much more terrifying. Glen's, while good, does go over the top abit bordering on silly, imo. Rod's....well...let's just say the cops were dumb not to wonder how Rod got that other side of the bedsheet through the other side himself, lol.

Yes, ALL the kills in 5 suck ass. The only thing good about 5 is Lisa Wilcox being purty to look at.
