I went with Bale. He was my preferred fanboy choice, and he's pulling it off in spades, BUT had Kevin Conroy been an option I'd have voted him, but I figured this was Live Action only

I agree. I thought Kilmer had the best Bruce Wayne though. Bale is mediocre, Adam West is amusing but admittedly not great, and Clooney sucked.

Bale all the way
He is the only one who IMO has pulled off both Bruce Wayne and Batman equally.
Keaton was a great Batman but not so good at Wayne.
Kilmer sucked ass at both.
Clooney was a good Wayne but shitty Batman.
West....before my time lol

I went Keaton. The one problem with Bale is the Cannibal Corpse batman voice....West...hahaha...west... "There's a submarine drifting down the east bay.....It's fillled with human jetsam..."
Does anyone remember in the original movie, where he slips the F-bomb? As Wayne, he informs the riddler that batman is "clever enough to outwit you, you stupid fuck!"...classic..

I agree with the Bale voice problem. Keaton does it all for me.
It seems this is a 2 horse race now.

I agree completely on both parts. I loved Kilmer as Bruce Wayne, but Bale is the worst Batman ever. The voice just kills it for me. Instead of a tense dramatic scene, I'm laughing my ass off.
When he's in the suit, he looks stiff like he's got to take a shit. I know the suit is fuckin tight man, but being able to tell you gotta shit just by looking at the eyes, not good.

Yeah Kilmer gets shit on a lot but I liked him even if I didn't like the movie.
Bale's Batman voice is annoying

West!
He didn't need rubber muscle suits to stop supervillains. He is also the wittiest Batman.

Tough question. It's something I'd have to think long and hard about since I'm thinking of it as "who'd be good enough to take after Bale." Sam Rockwell would do an awesome Joker though.

Little bit of thinking, and while I haven't seen the show Mad Men, I've seen plenty of commercials for it, Jon Hamm looks interesting enough where I'd want to see him audition as Batman/Bruce Wayne.
