Not sure who this is in reference to, but I certainly try to participate. Yet again this week its a film I do not own and do not wish to, plus I am in sweden which makes it a bit more difficult. Sure the discussion will survive without me.
As for others, maybe they dont get the idea yet, we should PM them about it.

Not to single anyone out, but Val, for instance, is rarely here and I don't recall her ever participating in a MOTW. Is she gonna be here for Oldboy? If she is gonna be here for that day, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I think to pick movies you should participate.

Basically you've found a flaw in the current system. The old system encourage people to particapate and the current one has help slow the steam of MOTW.
