Waiting for the cable guy to freak'n get here and fix the box. The whole reason of me getting tv was to watch the live awards show shit, and the box fucking craps out the night before the Oscars.

Award shows are lame as hell anyway.

is there no where on youtube that will be showing the oscars at all? it feels like a missed opportunity. *shrug*

I imagine youtube would have a live broadcast somewhere. Do the oscars have a youtube channel? They might even do it live.

They don't. Only the red carpet crap I don't care about. Once the show starts, feed cuts.

Looks like ABC.com will have a live stream since I finally have a cable account that is confirmed. I wonder if I can get this to work with Walking Dead since I don't get that channel on my plan. Maybe they only confirm that I have an account.

And other streams online can be found, but they all suspiciously want credit card numbers now. previous years wasn't that big of a problem.

Does your town not have any at all? Even the small town I lived in in Alaska had one.

yeah, we have a big theater or two. i just prefer the home experience. and it's cheaper, usually.

I do find it strange Shape of Water didn't get a make-up nomination. That fishman suit is spectacular.

Getting nervous about my last issue (7). I feel like there might be too much in it, and may need to be an issue 8...but it would be so awkward to break a giant action sequence in half like that.
