Jewel

Post by Jason »

Ever see that Simpsons episode that focuses on those Japanese commercials that try to brainwash the fuck out of whoever watches it and is completely at the mercy of whatever the fuck the commercial says to do?

This video... ("try not to fall in love with Jewel" challenge) It's like she's singing in a hypnotic tune... She has one of the best female voices ever. But the best body, too? You can't have it all, Jewel. What the fuck... She's performing music so the fashion models can strut their stuff but she's hotter than all the models.

She got a rise out of me, and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Definitely her best. Really underappreciated female vocalist. An all time great, in my opinion.

Definitely check out this performance if you're up to it. I discovered it a few years back. At first I skimmed along and got to the songs I liked, but she'd interact with the crowd, tell jokes and make fun of herself. I enjoyed the performance so much I ended up watching the whole thing. I've sat through it a couple times. At least skim to the ones you like. It's a great performance.

i think the studio albums do a better job of showing her voice and range. but it's a good performance.

Did you see her match the guitar with her vocals? Was that not amazing?!

i think it was the other way around. (the guitarist matching what she was doing vocally) but that was definitely some impressive vocals. i'm not disputing her ability.

Oh, yeah... U right.

I thought that really showed her range. She never belted it like that in the studio. Really cool jam. I'd wife her, and T-Swiz only.

It's hard for me to rank mine. But it would look pretty similar to yours. I like Near You Always and Don't. Would be higher, and I'm Sensitive is one of my faves. Lol.

Little Sister is hogging up all the plays lately.
