At work, trying to convince one of the ladies that a plane did not crash outside of the house...She's adamant there's a plane crash outside and we have to call the cops...she has really vivid dreams and thinks they're real all the time. I even looked outside to appease her. No smoke on the ocean, no debris in the road...she's still adamant we call for help for a non-existent plane crash and fire...


some small updates- Third draft is being a pain in the ass. I have this part I want to change but it's not coming together like I want it to so I keep staring at a blank page.

The computer at work crashed and I finally talked them in to getting a new one and a new printer. I've set both up and they are working beautifully!! And so much faster and better than the old POS.

My boss is about to have a mental breakdown cause the board is making her do her job and show up when she's supposed to and document when she's there and not there and she's having a fit about it. I swear to god one more blow up about having ridiculous entitlements that cost the company thousands of dollars a year taken away from her and I'm gonna talk to the president about getting her job...cause I'd be fucking happy to work 80 hours a week if I got paid what she got paid, and she doesn't even want to put in the 40 she's supposed to be here!

Just when I was thinking Logan was getting completely ignored (you know, comic book movie stigma), it gets a writing Oscar nomination. Holy shit!

Wonder Woman looks empty handed for nominations though, I thought it would at least be a shoe-in in some of the technical stuff.

Actually, they dropped the new Super Troopers 2 trailer recently.

"can become any shape" is not the same as "is every shape". guillermo del toro did shape of water. it's probably gonna end up being my favorite english language film from him, if the hype can be trusted.

I love blockbusters that are good. 98% (or more) of blockbusters today are super hero flicks or animated movies, and I got over those years ago.

I can watch an animated movie. I am just not interested in blockbuster animated movies that target 2-6 year olds.

I don't care the least bit about award fare. It is 100% opinion. Why should anyone be interested in a Hollywood schmuck's opinion of a movie, as though that opinion is the end-all of opinions? Especially now that Hollywood is making a big stink about white men getting nominated for awards? It's just a total liberal Hollywood shit show.
