Train to Busan

Post by showa58taro »

One of the more refreshing Zombie horror films to come out in the last few years for me, and it was a Korean film. Known for horror, but not always for Zombie films, it's good to see this kind of gem emerge.

It also does have a few absolutely wonderful bits of heart-break across the board. Things which I think were more gutsy than a lot of horror movies tend to be when it comes to Zombie genres, in terms of who it is willing to kill off and how it does it. Maybe that's me being cynical, but I like the bravery of it.

All told, an excellent, excellent film.

I absolutely love this film. Kind of weird since there isn't much gore but the action was great. Fresh take on the zombie movement.

Great movie. It's a rare thing to watch a horror movie and actually root for people to survive. Train is up there with Dawn of the Dead (04) on my list of best zombie flicks.

I felt the action and panic was perfectly suitable for the film. Great pacing. And really likeable characters. It's a worthy top Zombie flick for sure.

I haven't seen it but I have heard good things. I've been extremely lazy on anything new.

On all fronts, or have you become less of a horror fan?

And a certain person to finally get his comeuppance.

Really fun movie. Big fan of the flopping zombies, looks like an ideal way to get around if you're a zombie and was legitimately terrifying throughout the movie watching them just casually roll through windows, off trains etc. with not even a pretense of being human.

Hadn't thought too much about that. Excellent point.
