I always preferred the police station setting in both the original RE2 and the remake.
Si, the police station is my favorite setting in the whole series, really.
Resident Evil 2 was my intro to the franchise when I was 14. Never played a game like that before. Scared the crap out of me. For me, though, the setting was surpassed by the mansion in the GameCube remake. That is my favorite setting in any game ever, too. So beautifully done.

So... Days Gone snuck up on me. I pre-ordered it when I went in for the early release of Resident Evil 2 back in January. Comes out this Friday. Need to stop in at GameStop and see when I can pick it up. Probably Thursday night.

Check out the gameplay.

I'm in the middle of it. Obviously no Last of Us. Pretty coo so far. Kinda buggy. They're updating it here and there. Friday is the one I'm talking up and the one you need to play if you call yourself a horror fan!

I drove my bike off a bridge thinking there wasn't gonna be a gaping hole in the middle of it. Fell like 100 feet and stuck the landing. Lmao. Broke the bike, though. You find tools throughout the game to repair your shit.

Tigg only owns like 5 games, not sure what the others are outside of Leisure Suit Larry, Custer's Revenge and Beat Em and Eat Em but he trades more than a used cars salesman.

Played a game, instantly became one of his favorite games ever made, then immediately gives it away.

Once I beat a game I have no need to run through again too many games to play

You think that’s a product of the games or our age? Lord knows I played Nintendo and Sega games until the wheels fell off, can’t think of many “modern” games I’ve retried at all, let alone a full run.

They make them easy to beat so you move on to another game or buy more DLC. Back in the day they were harder and I can't remember a place I could trade in games then

Definitely modern. Just by observing Alli and other games I see others play, I don't see much repeat value, and then they trade in for other games.

I haven't traded in any, but there are a couple I haven't tried playing through again, or even after a little bit (looking at you, Battle Chasers).

Regarding how easy modern games have gotten, yeah that seems true, which is why they pumped up the difficulty on RE2 remake and now people bitch about how hard that is lol (even me, I can't beat it on normal, I've given up...I can't imagine how bad hardcore mode is).

Older games though, even when they're tough, there's a certain satisfaction when you repeatedly beat them. Link to the Past and Super Metroid, I've beat them countless times, and it's still a joy every time.
