xenia onatopp is prime for a spinoff! :P

i'm not sure that a cinematic universe would work for bond, unless they tried to shoehorn some characters in for that purpose. meh.

No, I don't think enough characters have the depth for their own movie. A Bond-verse could get pretty lame. I'm all for a Felix movie though.

Wish we could get more original stuff with great new and unique writing instead of constant spin-offs and reboots.

James Bond films are a Universe. The Fuck are they on about. Not everything needs interconnected films.

I mean I get that you could do a Felix Leiter film, an M film, a Q film, a Moneypenny film, and maybe a new 00-agent or something. It can be done. But nobody thinks that's what we want more of in Bond. The side characters.

Weird hearing one of the best Bond themes (TWINE) and worst Bond themes (Die Another Day) back to back in the Bondathon. Kinda like jumping from the godawfulness of A View to A Kill to the excellence of The Living Daylights.

"Who sent you?"
"Yo mama. And she told me to tell u she really disappointed in u"
- Die Another Day

It's a total tragedy that a great Bond in Pierce Brosnan was a victim of such shit films. What a waste. If it weren't for Brosnan, Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day wouldn't even be watchable at all.

And Jesus H. Denise Richards is hot as hell, but is there an actress any less convincing than her as a Bond girl? Holy fuck. Halle Berry is pretty close, but Richards is so god-awful at acting, stuck up and completely dislikable in TWINE.

Couldn't sleep last night so I threw in The Spy Who Loved Me. Definitely one of the better ones.

I'm gonna create a thread where I rank the Bond flicks, as well as the songs, and probably rank the best M and Moneypenny actors. I'm thinking about doing Felix Leiter, but they're all in each movie pretty briefly so it's a bit difficult. Probably won't do Leiter.

I was just listening to A View to a Kill last night on youtube. Not sure if I like that best or Live and Let Die.
