I am having the same issue. It's part of the reason I left Texas but even still. July and August are tough for me here. I wish I could have moved to Alaska but my gf wouldn't agree so we settled on VA.

I think Wyoming or Montana would be ideal for me but my girl is the polar opposite.

ohh yeah. i've heard this. took me until hearing "i live among the creatures of the night" to realize it though. she has the voice for it. i wish she'd belt a little bit more through the song.
