So every year, I try to do a mini-marathon of horror films released the year previous. So for example, last year, I held the Jiggy's 2022-a-thon.

This year, I was aiming to watch anywhere from 10 to 20 movies from 2023. I usually do this February, but haven't been in a big horror mood recently. That said, I'm looking to start it before mid-July, and so I was going to start looking for any movies of interest.

All of this is to say that if you have any recommendations of horror movies that came out in 2023, throw them my way. I can't promise I'll watch them, but I like the personal touch of disappointing people when I don't like their recommendations. :P

And don't worry about recommending a movie I've already seen - the only two horror films from 2023 I've seen are Valentine Bluffs and Smart House, both rather lower-budget and obscure films.
For my thoughts on the horror films I've seen, please look here: https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.com/

Main ones I can think of are

When Evil Lurks
The Pope's Exorcist
Knock at the Cabin
Evil Dead Rise

I'm not recommending these, by the way. I've only seen one of them. Lol. I'm just sending you a list of movies I can think of that I wanna watch from that year.

I saw Evil Dead Rise and was underwhelmed. Absolutely loved the opening scene with the title graphic though.

Infested was good, despite the illogical bits.
