Nintendo Switch

Post by showa58taro »

Has anyone tried or seen one in action? How was it, does it look good?

I'm toying with buying one. Elena and Anja both love the iPads right now and Elena has started liking games on the PS4 but the Switch looks like another Nintendo triumph, lots of kid-oriented and group-play games, and easy to use both on tv and as a portable device which interests me.

Was gonna say you're probably gonna have to talk to families/kids, as it will not have much interest for most the gaming crowd here.

Wouldn't be a surprise but thought I should ask. You guys are my first point of call for nearly everything.

my great-nephew seems to have stolen both his father's and my brother's, so I'd say kids should really like it :P

Might be worth it for Breath of the Wild. I realize it's not exclusive to Switch and you can get it on Wii U, but nobody wants a Wii U. :p

At the very least I don't want to buy an older generation of console. :P

Seeing the trailer for Metroid Dread, I may finally get me a Switch. I also understand Zelda Twilight Princess is going to get a HD release on it, so there's more incentive.
