I have not planned anything yet.
I was going to watch Freaky for first time (I think HBO Max put it up) but at this point I might as well just wait for challenge.

I don't have anything planned either. My only goal now is to get through Supernatural before October.

So the only things I have planned are about 18 or so movies I watched last October, but never wrote a review for. I may try to knock out three to five of them, as I hate watching the same movie consecutive Octobers, but it's on me, so whateves.

Mostly, I'll probably focus on getting movies off my DVR, so I likely won't be watching anything too wild, but hoping for a good time.

Have to admit that I've not been in a horror mood at all for the last two months, and this may be the least I've looked forward to an October challenge in a long time, but once I get into it, I'm hoping things come together nicely.

Sad to hear this brother hopefully things change before October. Sometimes the weather change can be inspiring.

Been planning for the last couple of hours what I'll be watching. Have it broken down as such:

40 - DVR
5 - DVD movies
10 - Prime/Shudder/Netflix/Peacock/HBO Max
10 - Brother
10 - IMDb watchlist
15 - random pool 3 (rewatch)
7 - Movies not chosen for FE shows

Gets me to 97. I'll likely aim for 100, but my number one concern is to make sure I can get reviews written for each one, unlike last October, where I put reviews off and hoped to get to them later. As long as I can hit 97 with a review for each movie, I'll be happy.

I think my first movie will be Mystery of the Wax Museum. I'm a solid 52% sure.

Some exciting first-time watches that could happen for me include The New York Ripper, A Bay of Blood, and Tenebre. I've wanted to see all three for the longest time, and may finally do so next month. Most excited for Tenebre, but all three will be nice to mark off my "want-to-see" list.

I bought this utterly blatant ripoff of The Exorcist called Beyond the Door. It will probably be my first watch. As blatantly obvious of a rip off it is, I still bought this super cool Arrow release of it on blu ray.

They even ripped the shit out of theme song. Lol

One of the directors of that also made Tentacles, a classy late 70's flick that's a favorite of mine. Possession's not my cup of tea, but I hope that it goes well.

All 3 are excellent even though Ripper is kinda goofy

Might be a foolish question, but was someone going to make a discussion thread for the Challenge, or was this just going to take it's place? I was considering making one, but didn't want to step on toes or irk anyone.
