As the last natural Star was dying the last community of people tried to enjoy it's last warm days. They had the technology to create artificial stars but the light wasn't the same.
The beaches were full, most people were actually sober because they wanted to remember. People climbed, hiked camped, anything to be outside in the sun. Bouts of laughing and crying. Crying in fear at what was in the darkness.
