I'm starting to get more requests to come onsite at work. Should I be a good boy scout and decline out of the interest of public health and the greater good?

Wasting away another day is a growing theme. I think I'm done with that, Jig.

I have to work Wednesday Thursday Friday this week. The anxiety and paranoia is terrible but seeing other people is pleasant so its it's not that bad.

I have to interact with people, hug, high five, talk one on one in close. You might as well shut it all down, it means nothing to me otherwise, 6 feet go fuck yourself.

Hugs and high fives are done with replaced with head nods and dwarf style bowing

Could just be the Corona Blues, brah.
Sore throat, which isn't a common coronavirus symptom, and apparently he has no dry cough.

They say that well over 50% of cases tested were asymptomatic, didn't even know they had the virus. Felt fine.
Another tidbit, the average age of death of the coronavirus is higher than general life expectancy...

Supposed to watch Cut and Run (1985) before Friday's show. Alas, while it's on Amazon Prime and Tubi, it's the cut version. Looks like it's to the shady streaming sites I go. :P

Why are we so desperate to make the coronavirus a permanent virus...

Our feelings don't change reality or science. We're not trying to make it "permanent," the fact is that it may be long-lasting.

because we don't actually know what will happen, if we try to "burn it out". all that is is speculation and theory, unless you have some source to prove otherwise?

It's a brand new virus. If we quickly develop herd immunity, the virus will no longer exist. I thought this was common knowledge. Also, with a virus this brand new, we're playing a dangerous game that could allow it to mutate and morph into a supervirus that kills 50% of the population...

Flatten the curve (which we've done), and then open the country back up. "Slow the spread" doesn't decrease your likelihood of catching the virus. The entire reason behind slowing the spread is so hospitals are not overrun with patients. You are more likely to get it if this disease becomes endemic, which governments are apparently begging for. More people will continue to die overtime and we've now successfully allowed a permanent virus to take over the world of which we have no vaccine for.

it's like a parachute. we've opened it and slowed our descent, so we can take it off now? we don't know if we're still falling or if we're on the ground yet. :P
