Amen to that. We were watching Slumber Party Massacre 2 last night. And my biggest gripe is the one with the nicest big ass titties doesn't show the goods.

No order, but I find these visually arresting in beauty and composition.

The bottom one of The Thing is really about the mistique of the composition, not necessarily the beauty (though all Dean Cundy Pre-Apollo 13 shot movies are beautiful), but it's still very striking, and says a lot.

I also wished I could find a better grab of the Headless Horseman chopping off the dude's head with the windmill in the background, but none seem to be uploaded.

The Shining has a myriad of shots that were and are just perfection to me. Not much comes close to creating masterful visuals.

I did like IT in the opening scene, think the incredible shadow and light blue ofPennywise’s eyes is as striking an image as I can recall.

Agree though D has highlighted some other ones through the era.

Should we just link to Slaughter talking about Black Christmas?

i'm finding it hard to settle onto any specific image. and moreso just films that are visual treats from beginning to end. black christmas can fit in well, there.
