This was too horror comedy for me maybe that's why I'm so disappointed by the movie.

Only saw the first, my only gripes were CGI and Scooby-Doo sounding Pennywise. "Hi-ya -Shaggy- Georgie"

The song felt like it was added after a test audience screening. I think had it been in the movie (like he knocks over a radio) it’s be more amusing.

Why would you want anything amusing in that scene?

Test audiences are tricky, sometimes they go over the top with their reactions because they got a special screening and really want to like it.

Probably best to just have a group of people who are in tune with certain genres and what will work for the audience (in my humblest of opinions).
