I’m guessing you’ll wait another 5 before watching then telling us all it wasn’t as good as I Love Lucy. :D

Head, you seemed most annoyed. What were you hoping for apart from more episodes?

Getting ready to tear through season 6 like Sam through some chocolate covered incest ridden panties. Though it feels like I’m in a hurry just to be heaved off a cliff, left an embattled, broken and bitter man like Lord Tigg and our other fallen comrades.

Still think I liked 1, 7 and 8 more than some middle installments.

8 was a bit rushed but I still dug it for the most part.

I think it’ll age better with time than people seem to think.

1-4 is great. 5 and 6 still really good. 7 and 8...some enjoyable parts.

Characters moving the story along in a natural way. I was mostly satisfied with where everyone ended up, but their actions felt mostly inconsequential. Jon telling the Stark sisters about his lineage was the only thing that seemed to move the narrative along, and in the end it was just what was needed to rationalize a really poorly executed heel turn for Dany. There was no Walter White-ification in this. You could justify everything she did up until the moment she turns into a tyrant. Didn't buy it.

Maybe Season 7 was where that development should have been taking place though. This season was always going to be battles and final interactions between characters, the pieces needed to be moving earlier.
