I'm devastated. My mother passed away last night. She had bowel surgery a few weeks ago, and she passed away from internal bleeding (what the doctors think right now). Everyone do me a favor and hold your loved ones a little tighter tonight. Tell them you love them every chance you get.

I'll be ok. Just shocked and in a lot of emotional pain.

They took out a bunch of her lower intestine. She had the same surgery back in the mid 90s and for the past 20+ years, she's had to get her stomach drained of acid every few months. That stopped working. So they took out as much as they could possibly take out this time.

When they did it back in the 90s, she got down to under 70 lbs and they said she was gonna die and nothing they could do. This was right after having 26 biopsies on her ovaries and 13 on her cervix. The radiation is what fucked up her bowels. She also had a heart attack and had open heart surgery because of the radiation. So, all that happened within about 8 months. She was tough as fuck. She fought for 20+ years and that's something to look up to.

Thanks Seb. I've been through this when my dad passed away. Devastating at first. Then it's an emotional roller coaster ride. Today has been a better day.
