Watching the Friday the 13th Franchise, with Jason

There's a legend around here. A killer buried, but not dead.
A curse on Crystal Lake. A death curse. Jason Voorhees' curse.
Few have seen him and lived. Some have even tried to stop him... No one can.

That sounds about right. I used to really like Kane, but the special features on Jason X really turned me off with how...authoritative he was with what Jason would or wouldn't do. Him not playing well with the creators, i firmly believe, is why they dropped him for Freddy vs Jason.
I don't mind authority over the character you play, but you can't be authoratitive while agreeing to do both Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X. I mean fuck, dude. I'd be like "find someone else". And they would, because they were looking to push the FVJ angle when they bought the rights to Friday the 13th from Paramount, but it's the principal of the matter!

I kinda view the golden era of F13 as 1-6, as well. 6 was my favorite originally, when I first watched the franchise. Stayed that way until my early-mid 20s or so.

I admire the effort. And a lot of it did look cool, the chain was a nice addition. But the bones protruding always bugged me, his teeth were weird, and this was supposed to be zombie era Jason, but Kane is breathing hard as fuck. Just too much.

Don't think he looked fat until 9.
Never thought he looked fat necessarily, but scaling down Jason's width, and scaling up Jason's height during the Hodder era would've been ideal. Kane just doesn't look like the Jason I envision in my head.

And the fat thing is not referring to actual fat, just the way I envision that version of jason had he not been decomposed. Your bones are in the center of your body, not the perimeter, so if he was fleshed out, he would have like a 75 inch chest.
