They're trying to pull back on the war on drugs in the Trump administration, is what I'm thinking garnered the pardon. And what he was convicted of is a bit harsh if that is indeed all that was done.

With that said, I'm neutral on it. Reopen that website so I can get a few painkillers.

It's alleged because they only have the messages between him and the hitman. They were all(including the person the hit was for) using internet handles. They think they found the hitman, but it was never proven. The messages did show he hired a guy to kill someone, paid them in bitcoin, and received a photo of a dead body.

No body. A picture of a dead body doesn't mean someone was murdered. He did pay for a murder to happen, though, but I dunno how that works in legal terms. Either way, I still see no reason to pardon the guy other than the libertarian angle, which is kinda silly.
