I was all grumpy over Photobucket fuzzing up resized pics anyway. *sighs*
I got all of my stuff off except for 2 important videos. Luckily I have them up on my computer. All is good. Just need to find a new place for all of my gifs to call home though. I can't post without those!

I was reading through some posts on Photobucket's facebook page. That is some fun reading there.

I'm gonna check out that facebook page.

imgur has treated me wonderfully, and I don't even have an account there. That's my recommendation.

I have to go through 7 accounts, download, and reupload thousands of images. Photobucket put a fucking hole in the internet. Pieces of shit.

Imgur is great. I've been using it for awhile, just not here because old habits had me using photobucket.

I'm pretty sure everything I have on photobucket is also on my pc, but I went ahead and downloaded all my albums just in case.

I think the announcement part came later in the thread when we found out putting an image link from photobucket onto HMF was considered 3rd party hosting. As in, you are going to lose your sig pic after a while because they are going to block your account and then charge you $400 if you want said account usable again. It was moreso, everyone should probably switch before you get fucked over too. So it does work as an announcement, just not his initial post was announcement worthy...or even the first page or so of posts

My original post was created in fear of what turned out to be true. I suspected we couldn't post images from photobucket anymore, and it turns out that's what it is. I wanted to make sure everyone on HMF saw the post before their shit got locked away. As a result, everyone is now downloading all their shit off photobucket within 24 hours of making the announcement.

Apparently...I signed up one time when I was commenting on a certain picture, signed up through Facebook. This must've been on my phone.

Apparently I have -2 reputation there. Probably because of some idiot claiming if he pays for art, it shouldn't have the artist's signature on it, and I called him on that bullshit.

It didnt' read like an announcement. It read like you bitching. Which you do 99% of the time.
