The Country Girl wasn't bad.

Forgot that one existed. Throw School of Rock in there.

Also bought one last year called The Three Cornered War about the conflicts in the West during the Civil War but haven’t started it yet.

Head have you read books similar to Blood and Thunder, I would love some recommendations
Son of the Morning Star (best account of Custer and Little Bighorn)
Empire of the Summer Moon (rise and fall of the Comanches)
Both of those would interest me. Blood and Thunder said Comanches found torturing people in super fucked ways cathartic and I've always wanted to know more about Custer's last stand.

Ol' Jim Bridger warned Custer about the Sioux and he didn't listen basically.

The Comanches were some wild boys. First took an interest in them after a rewatch of The Searchers, the definitive Ford/Wayne film.

Custer's horse was actually named Comanche. Left to die wounded after Little Bighorn.

Yeah it’s pretty good. Bogdonavich’s first four movies (Targets, The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon, What’s Up Doc?) are all worth a watch.

Okay but Parasite was good! And you didn’t even like The Irishman (my favorite movie of 2019)

I hate how they vote for BP now, ever since 2009. Even ones I really liked had no reason to win like Green Book.
