Not a political post, but about Trump, so may as well put it here. Why did he pardon Ulbricht(the creator of Silk Road)? The guy made a site designed to be amazon, but for illegal stuff. I checked out the site years ago, and it's a pretty accurate description. I mean, drugs were the biggest category on the site, but you could find all sorts of illegal shit on there. Being arrested for something that is blatantly illegal seems reasonable. He said it's because libertarians supported him, but that makes fuckall sense. "This political group supported me, so let's release this criminal that they like."

This is a genuine question, so I don't wanna hear about "but Biden pardoned x". I don't give a fuck. This isn't a question based on political opinions. This is just me asking if there's an actual reason for it.

i don't know the actual reason, but rfk also stated that he would pardon the guy, if he were elected. and now he's in the cabinet. he may have had trump's ear. just a thought. i hope that it is more than what amounts to voter peer pressure.

All that can be said is corruption in the United States is at an all time high.

2 life sentences and 40 years does seem alot for creating a website but he didn't serve long enough imo.
