Isn't she a known for having mental health issues? That combined with recent surgery/injury and the resources to get the pills is almost always the culprit at her age. I want to say it is the new cancer, but cancer is not so frequently self inflicted like this.
yeah, i'm not doubting that could be the cause. sucks. she wasn't even so much older than i am.

i know what you meant. i'll listen to their albums a lot and it will be okay. (no need to argue and everybody else is doing, so why can't we being their first two and my favorites)

Reference went right over my head the first time! Even second time without the mention of "first two albums" I was like do I need to get a translator, the fuck he talking? Had to work the google and now I get ya.

We can rename the day to be Civil Rights Day or something else to honor African American contribution. I always thought it was ridiculous to have a national holiday named after a single person anyway, as the real work was done by millions, not one man.

They had some of the most recognizable songs of the 90's, especially in concern to films/tv exposure, so I give them plenty of credit for that. But as you know, it's not like I would buy their albums.

you seem to have pretty varied taste? metallica to 311 (
) to taylor swift. but if the cranberries are too far, that's fair enough.

Yeah, but Columbus was white and MLK was black, so we can't have the same level of outrage.

Without Columbus we would have pesky indians running around all over the place, Hitler would have won WWII, and Superman would probably be flying around with a feathered head dress.
