I never said you did. And I'd be willing to bet that the majority of trans people are posing as women to be creeps rather than dress as a woman because he feels like a woman. I'm simply not a fan of those people, especially the ones that put on a bra and legally beat the shit out of women.
do you have anything to back that up with, more than a gut feeling?
Humans in general have a bad track record with doing shit to get attention, social media has made this problem worse over the last decade. So I have zero doubt there were dozens who suddenly came out as trans (or gay) just to bring attention to themselves. Now that doesn't make all of them creeps or dangerous people but it does hurt the cause of those who are truly gay/trans.
my issue is with his claim that that is the majority of trans. there are of course gonna be assholes that try to ruin it for the whole group. steven crowder and lauren southern are among the more prominent of said assholes.
I don't know if it is the majority or not. It's a complex issue and I don't have enough data to say one way or another. Secondly, I won't pretend to understand nor know much about the LGBTQ world because I myself am not apart of it. But there are assholes as you call them that seek nothing but attention for themselves. What I can say for certain is there are people who will never accept this no matter how much people try and educate them on the subject. Some people are just stuck in their ways.

I say live and let live.

No, just as nobody has anything to back up that the massive influx of supposed trans people genuinely feel trapped in the opposite gender, in which case they have a mental health issue that is being ignored and passed off as normal. If they aren't harming others, fine, live your life.
live your life. we agree. people in government don't agree.
If I were a woman I would not feel comfortable in a bathroom with a man in a dress, whether he is out to harm me or not. And especially if I'm a martial artist and a guy on hormone blockers is standing opposite of me.

If I felt like a woman today and decided I wanted to put on some sexy thong and a dress and walk around, I would either do it privately or make sure I'm in a situation where I wouldn't have to walk into a public bathroom, because let's be honest, men in dresses is uncomfortable for the majority of both genders. You're gonna get looks because it is undeniably weird and not normal. Gotta recognize that if you wanna be accepted by society. Parading around about your rights and beating the shit out of women is gonna make people who don't understand you, genuinely not like you now.

trans people beating up women or creeping on them in bathrooms is so fringe. it is a mountain out of a molehill. and they are under the same laws as everyone else in that regard.

even in sports events, it is fringe. but at least with that, you have a case to be made. i can agree that some better regulation could be helpful. but also being corrupt assholes who want to pretend an athlete is trans because you don't like the result of a bout needs to be regulated.

I remember a story from a few years back about a trans chic alleging that a person hit her in the balls at an airport.
I don't know the specifics of the story but I wondered at the time if it was related to the whole men dressed as women in the bathroom issue. :-/

It's not a mountain out of a molehill. It would not even be a molehill if society didn't cave to trying to put trans people in everything. That's what made a mountain out of a molehill.

If you're talking about Imane khelif, we kinda went over that. Imane took a karyotype test with a boxing association where the results were undisclosed but determined Imane could only compete against men. Instead of competing against men, she took to the olympics, signed up as a woman and beat the fuck out of all of them.

the representation does not seem to be far above the number of them in the population. even the golden girls and loveboat tried to be accepting to trans people in the 80s. until bush and clinton came along and shut that all down.

imane khelif is a woman who was accused of being trans by idiots who wanted their favored athlete to win, and no actual proof was given to prove their claim.

Olympic boxer who was supposedly a man. Then determined that a karyotype test was done under a boxing organization that did not disclose results, but stated she can only compete against men, indicating this person was born with both male and female chromosomes. Instead of competing against men, took to the olympics and annihilated women.

They could be running an underground cocaine business for all we know, has nothing to do with Imane having a rare genetic condition. It has to be awful to be born that way, but the olympics allowing Imane to compete with that kind of advantage against women is reckless and stupid.

if contestants in bouts are chosen and separated in a way that goes beyond whether they are born male or female, that could be a valid step toward not coming up into these issues.

but this is not what trump was on about, anyway. as this is not anything to do with the united states.
