Neither one can be as bad as The Lure.

Actually, I've been meaning to rewatch it. I need to anyway, so I can review it, but aside from not being into body horror, and not caring for some of the music, I can't remember exactly why that one didn't do much for me.
Once I do get the chance to see it again, though, I'll dedicate my review to you.

I know that you've seen a lot of giallo that I haven't, so that always could be a good place to start.
It's all up to you, brah.

looks like it's on max, if that's a part of your challenge prep. but it is definitely big on the body horror, so if that's a particular turn off i can see the gripe.

have any of the rest of us missed something similarly huge to the genre. i fear i may have but can't think of anything off the top of my head. i know there have been times in the past that i had certainly though.

I think I've hit most of the big ones (aside from anything that came out post-2018; modern-day big movies are certainly something I'm lacking on).
That said, I've never seen Rosemary's Baby (1968), nor do I really ever want to. I just get the sense I'd be bored out of my mind.

If you're talking about the 1956 version, I'd highly recommend it. Some of the characters are annoying as fuck, and that final scene is sort of hideous, but it's generally quite a solid movie.

if you can give the lure a revisit, i guess i can give the bad seed a first visit.

Mutually-beneficial blackmail - my favorite part of the day.

I don't think I've seen the Exorcist in its entirety, or any of its sequels. I haven't seen the Omen(or the sequels), Rosemary's Baby, Silence of the Lambs(only saw parts of it, never the whole thing), Misery(again, just saw parts of it), none of the Psycho sequels, and probably more that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

The only glaringly obvious one I missed was The Blob (1988) up until two or three years ago. Fantastic movie. Wish I'd seen it sooner.
