From Beyond has the super sexy Barbara Crampton roll

I'm not involved in this, but From Beyond is a much better film imo. That could be because of my love of Lovecraft, but I just could never get into Castle Freak, despite Gordon and Combs involvement.

well, castle freak is also lovecraft-based.

I like both but From Beyond is just a better movie

fair point, i suppose. but i think from beyond is just done in a different style as a film. cheesy splatter fun with neon psychedelia. that didn't come from the source. and castle freak is done in a more serious dramatic way.
