Who says they're shit? Idiots on Bloody Disgusting, and foolish casual movie-goers who have an IMDb account? It strikes me as a hard thing to judge whether or not a movie could be good without at least seeing a little of it.Reign in Blood wrote:There's more to life than just watching dog shit movies, man.Tiggnutz wrote:Classiest obviously I was leaning more a champion of the poorly reviewedJigsaw wrote:I like how I'm connected with lower rating films, when in fact, I'm the classiest mofo here.Tiggnutz wrote:November 2nd will from now on be known as JiggyHeadsday everyone will be required to watch a movie with a less than 5% rating on Rottentomatoes while bitching about a Denver sports icon
Unless it's mainstream, in which case it's probably terrible.

Most of us have known each other for something like at least five years, maybe as much as ten or fifteen. I think in many ways we really are a family, and I am appreciative of that.

I first joined HMF in 2009 (I remember, because it was a month or two before the '09 October Challenge), so I've almost known you guys for ten years. Utterly mind blowing.

Re: November 2nd, 2018
Now that I'm a few drinks back, celebrating the JigHeadTigg birthday party, and waxing poetic, I have to say that my favorite thing I've done is start the Halloween Challenge (full disclosure, I totally stole from the IMDb Horror board). We bitch and yap at each other about a lot of shit, these days it more so in the politics boards. But for one month, most of us come together, and blissful conversation takes place. I wish I could contribute more to my creation, best I've ever done is 50 total, but I read all the posts, and you guys busting out 50+ movies is inspirational. And through it, we talk to each of us, all of which have varying styles, what to watch and what to just shitcan. I don't know, it's a beautiful thing, to me.
Maybe we should do it for Christmas with Xmas theme horror movies or summat. I dunno.

Re: November 2nd, 2018
I'll be using December to try and catch up with horror films from 2018 I missed throughout the year (an idea I came up with a few weeks ago), but that sounds fun also.
