She believes in being the best version of herself she can be. It is not really limited to appearance as she likes to take classes and stuff too.

i don't think i'd ever get surgery for cosmetic reasons, only because i don't think it would make a difference in how i feel about myself. and maybe make it worse a little bit. that's just me.

I just don't believe in burning the village down. When i see stuff like this, it reinforces that industry is more about image than talent. His talent didn't change, his image did. When is the last time Spacey was the star of a big movie anyway?

he had been the star of a big tv show, and supporting in a couple of big movies. and yeah, image is probably the biggest factor in hollywood. it explains a lot of the decision making.

I also try to view it from her perspective since she does surgeries. I am terrified of getting operated on. She does them so it does not seem so foreign. Also that pert of her job is aesthetics. People tend to want nicer looking teeth than they go in with.

Again, it is not for me, either. I think everyone has a desire to be the prettiest (most handsome) in the room. Just some will go to different lengths. One person won't workout, another will. One won't take care of their skin, another will. Surgery, etc.

i don't think it should be about being the most attractive in the room. i think it should be about making yourself happier, fulfilling something within yourself. don't do it to appeal to others, do it to improve your own well being. just my thought. otherwise, where is the end to that? people are fickle, especially any large group of people. it seems like the wrong mindset, but that could be misrepresentation of her reasons, or misreading of it on my part.

there are different types of happy. Is a 300 pound woman happy when she is eating cake? Is the lazy guy happy when he is sleeping and playing video games day? They probably are in that moment.

Realistically, we all want recognition. She cares more about her appearance and academics than I do. I care more about other types of achievement. I have family who measure their happiness by how much time they have off work.

You don't like it when people find you attractive?
