Our defense is horrible though. The Gods of Urban Meyer shined upon our defense today.....and we still gave up a shit ton of points. But Michigan's defense is beast. Can't believe they gave up 62 points. Wow.

I think expansion to 8 teams is inevitable. Can't have these power 5 champions missing the playoffs every year, too many people with money involved who represent conference interests.

Yeah your defense is pretty bad, but Oklahoma's defense is actually incredible to watch, all you can do is laugh sometimes at the total incompetence. They have to score on almost every possession to win games (and they do). Ohio St. is a better team but they have some puzzling games.

Word. This is the worst Ohio State defense I can remember.

College is one or two generations away from just removing defenses and seeing which opposing offense can run to the end zone faster.

I can't remember another time I actually wanted USC to win, so of course they didn't get it done...

Barring something miraculous, looks like the top 3 will be Bama, Clemson and Notre Dame, leaving the final spot to be decided between Ohio State and Oklahoma. Notre Dame is the 100% lock with no games left.

The one result that would screw everything up is if Georgia beats Bama, as I still think so long as it's not a total blowout Bama would still make it over Ohio State and Oklahoma, giving the playoff two SEC teams and leaving the playoff without a Big 10, Pac 12 or Big 12 champion. That would accelerate playoff expansion for sure.

College football OT rules really inflates those scores though. Big 12 teams would be not far from those totals in regulation.
