It is kinda like a cunt punt. On the surface, crude slapstick, but dig deeper and it is social commentary.

i think you know the ridiculousness of that comparison.
Well, once you remove the gender identities from the equation, it is not so bad.
i can't have a mind of my own. (buzz)feed me what i must believe, mr. foo.
I do it in more subtle ways!
not really. :P
It is next level. Does not appear to be subtle, but is subtle.
subtle in the very same way as insisting that it is subtle.

Acting. The problem is you are assuming a sighted actor can play a person who becomes blind better than a person who actually became blind. See why disabled folks have a point?
What do they care? They can't watch the movie, anyway...

50 Shades of Braille could be a good flick.

My point was that it's easier for Baldwin to play blind than Stevie Wonder to pretend he can see.

Based on a sighted person's bias. We are unable to know the nuances of being blind that a blind person would know. He is playing blind, they would be blind.

Ever watch a sports movie that features a non athlete doing incredible athletic feats? To anyone with a slightly trained eye, it looks absurd to the point where it takes you out of the movie. There is nuance and fluidity that is only made capable by experience.

When the blind guys see Bakdwin, I'm sure they'll. . . Oh wait.

Ordinarily I would think that was a joke article, but in this day and age... Good fuck.
