Day 2 of Darkside in Riverside for me, but I'll at least be watching Night of the Demons tonight. Linnea and Angela are showing up in costume, and a lot of the rest of cast & crew will be there too. Including Judy.

Travel to Paris. Massive failure. Strikes across the network made getting anywhere a nightmare.

Barnes and Noble trip, a visit with mom & pops then back to movie watching. Feeling sad for my momma though. She found out her last remaining brother died. She only had 2. 9 sisters but only 2 bros. While I think the idea of a big family is fun, being the second youngest and then having them knock off the chart has to suck.Tiggnutz wrote:What's everyone up to today.

True. But by the same token, most I know from big families, because they're big, they aren't particularly close to most of em. But anybody you grew up with, that's a hard one.
Just say the word, El El Sucio, ohhhh!

Close to it. Took 3 hours from airport to central Paris on super crowded train full of equally annoyed passengers.Reign in Blood wrote:Oy, you get stranded?
Definitely one of the worst commutes I can recall recently.

Curious. How would you feel if leftist protesters got in the way and held hands and sang songs in front of the train?showa58taro wrote:Close to it. Took 3 hours from airport to central Paris on super crowded train full of equally annoyed passengers.Reign in Blood wrote:Oy, you get stranded?

is it okay to support something or at least accept it, and still get annoyed and bothered when you get caught up into it?

I am just curious about Seb's take.zombie wrote:is it okay to support something or at least accept it, and still get annoyed and bothered when you get caught up into it?
I feel like if I were a liberal and supported the protests in the streets, it'd make me a hypocrite to get mad at them when they potentially ruin my working career because I'm late.

Re: October 19th 2019
it could be hypocritical. getting mad at being stuck in slow traffic, while supporting stop lights and traffic safety could be hypocritical too. *shrug*Jason wrote:I am just curious about Seb's take.zombie wrote:is it okay to support something or at least accept it, and still get annoyed and bothered when you get caught up into it?

As with every sane person I respect what they want to do but wish they didn’t do it where it ducked up my day.
