I've been getting back into roller skating after 20-some odd years of not having skated and I haven't killed myself on them yet!

and I really mean that. I can't skate for shit!

I'm super stoked. I bought the cheapest pair of skates I could find and have been playing around on them, mostly working on standing upright without accidentally going into a split right now, but I'm actually pretty fucking giddy about it. Skating was one of the things I most enjoyed as a kid and was actually pretty good at and I gave it up because non-inline skates became uncool and I couldn't do inlines at all. It's dorky as fuck, but I also feel really happy about it. It's weird.
